Ripe, medium-plus bodied, rather foursquare in flavour; authentically shiraz if not especially Clare Valley. An OK, not terribly exciting red that should go 3-4 years and find another dimension.

{screwcap} Mid-red. Soft plummy nose and palate; minimal tannins, and not especially Clare Valley-ish, but a cheerful quaffer with sweet fruits and a pretty undemanding structure. Drunk too warm as well, which didn't help the cause.
