PnP, 15 min. glass time. Clear, deep dark purple. Nice nose. Took some time to open but evolved into a very nice everyday drinker. Med body/intensity/finish, good integration, long legs, silky, not hot. Nothing off. Good value, $17

Lots of fruit on the nose, with pepper and leather notes. There's also a hint of something I can't place that might be cola. The flavor is a truly wild mix of fruit, chocolate, cedar, and pepper. Initially the pepper was dominating the finish, but as the wine opens up the pepper flavor is diminishing.

It was an enticing ruby-red, dark and clear pour, a moderate youthful aroma with an eye on graduation. The bouquet was pleasant, the Syrah being very easily identified, with a lot of black fruits, cherry, and hint of smoke and a semi-sweet chocolate whiff that showcased the oak and presented a very masculine scent. It was enormously pleasing on the pallet, with a very balanced, fruit forward, not too sweet attack. The Merlot was fairly prevalent in the structure, which overall was very smooth, and creamy, with a surprising mid-palate re-attack of pepper, and a strong finish of cherry. In the end it left a great impression for a table wine.

Got this wine as part of a mixed pack that come with some wonderful wine. This is barely drinkable. I would never buy.
