  16 years since my former bottle of this. The color is brickening/ brownish approx 1,5cm from the edge, clearly showing age. At first I had some off notes, thinking this needed a little air to blow off. And quite correct; 1/2 hour later fruit started to emerge.
  Black pepper, anise, black currant, forest floor, mushroom (in a good way), figues and lead pencil on the nose.
  Nice acidity, and very polished tannins. Dark fruits and a depth/complexity in the mouth that nicely balances the acidity. A beautiful wine and, although it would not be better with more cellaring time, I'm a little sad this is my last bottle.

  Red berries, raspberries, liqourice and something animalistic on the noce. The palate gets overwhelmed with mature fruit. Shows great complexity with nice acidity and medium body. Elegant and complex at the same time. Hint of dark Chocolate and anis. LONG! 60+ seconds.
