Appearance: Garnet/Ruby in colour - holding up to the light is almost interesting. Nose: Overwhelmingly earthy and oaky to open paving the way to dark fruits and cassis notes. Palate: Peppery and silky on the palate - tannins tickle your tongue in a pleasant way. Long finish and subtle cassis/aniseed note.
Conclusion: Drink whilst it's still ok - days are definitely numbered.

Still drinking perfectly and delicious on the palate. Some bottles at this age have spoiled, however this one was divine. As with previous bottles from th vintage, the cork was in poor condition.

This is really good after a bit of breathing. Different style of Cabernet, but very nice. Well-stored bottles will continue to deliver for a while I think.

Nose is dominated by apple cider vinegar, with a hint of balsamic. There are deeper notes of leather and blackberry, but they're obscured by the hot vinegar notes. Palate initially opens with hot white vinegar over flavours of blackberry, beetroot, and horseradish. The harshest of vinegar notes blow off within a few minutes, but they're replaced by stronger notes of oxidation. Drinkable, but not great.
