Followed advice and waited. Actually very nice for new world pinot. Not much "terroir" and a bit tart, but good finish (albeit with few if any secondary notes). A bit pricey though.

Good example of New World Pinot Noir - easy and very pleasing to drink - slightly dominated by cherry stone flavours - ever so slightly confected - a little bit too light lacking complexity or length.
Actually this wine was not as good for me as previous vintages which really have made a challenge to a good Burgundy at the top end of village or even premier cru wines. I doubt whether further aging will improve this wine but I shall keep my final bottle for a year or two and find out

Clear pale garnet. Bricking. Initially nose of wet jumper. Later (1 hr) moves on to a sappy nose with red fruit (cherries and raspberries) Dry. High acidity. Med tannins. Sharp ,refreshing but balanced. Long.

it may be pale in colour and not comparatively heavy for an SA Pinot but this tart edgy wine still has a lot going for it
