  • Feel like my palate is off or I have just not really enjoyed wines these last 3 days... OMG heaven forbid. This has a really familiar yet strange nose & yet I cannot place it. Getting some rotten orange rind? Mineral, meat? Weird. Palate feel is nice, the nose carries sans orange thingy, finish is upbeat, lingers nicely. Not bad, yet forgettable.

  • Purple. Jammy spicy oak, some gaminess buried in there. Been in the decanter for an hour or so. Not enough gamey nose for me, the varitals not coming through as much as I would expect. Nicely structured red/blue fruit gms blend. Kinda a meaty drying leather herb finish, tannins a bit of heat, the 15% poking her head through. A fun drinker.

  • Everybody loved this wine, it has enough fruit on the palate to be really approachable but also has enough earthy bold complexity that will win over the Napa Cab crowd. The fact that this is more of a Chateauneuf du Pape style blend with a good amount of Grenache makes it what it is. Berry fruit nose with some notes of oak on it but not much, finishes smooth and long.

  • Purple in the glass. Little more smoke and bramble spice on the nose than I remember. Lots of lush, velvet blue fruit, like a kids candy, nice. Touch of sweetness then some nice structure, acid, smokiness, tart red fruits. Good stuff. Drinks great with a decant, some upside, but not not a long termer. Solid wine for the price!
