  • Expected it to be dead and it was amazingly alive and even opened up over the 90 minutes or so we inhaled it. Black cherry, musk on the nose, touch of an acetone note, short-medium finish. Overall a strong showing

  • Taken from my cellar where it has been stored undisturbed since direct purchase from winery upon release. Clear deep violet purple throughout. Med-full body. Flavors of fresh black cherries and black raspberries. Smooth, silky and well integrated palate with a lightly spicy quality. With food (rst chicken, savory bread pudding and rapini) the flavors deepened considerably and the spiciness became more pronounced. A very fine bit of sediment at the end of the bottle. Terrific.

  • Reddish purple color; good clarity; aromas of cherrries, minerals, and tea; medium body with mid-palate slightly fading; rich red berry fruit flavors dominate; not much acidity compared to a young Pinot Noir; finishes long; not a blockbuster by any means but an enjoyable aged California Pinot Noir; time to drink these bottles.

  • Popped and poured, decanted for sediment (though very little). Ruby red in color with the brickish tint at the edges. Fresh on the nose, with dark Cherries, fig and pommagranit. On the palate, the cherries come through with a fresh, slightly spritzy, though balanced, feel. Drinking like a grand, aged, maiden, the wine was fresh, not tired. However certainly the time to consume now. A medium length, Zin type finish.

  • We got a leaker. Oxidized.
