  Medium dark red color. Tobacco and ripe dark fruit aromatics. Soft ripe fruit entry and mid-palate. Excellent Graves definition. Ready to drink, but no need to hurry.

  Red and black fruit, cherry, tobacco, dusty but refined.
  Medium bodied. More tart character in the palate. Tannins are not fully resolved, so this likely has another 5 or so years of prime drinking.
  All in all, great wine but nothing crazy.

  I did not pair theses two wines intentionally but it was a very interesting contrast of new and old world

  Austere flinty, cedar, tobacco
  Wonderful flavor in a wine with very faint nose

  Tannic, youthful, austere, full bodied, strict style of wine, with a beguiling nose of tobacco, cigar store, burning wood and red berries. Concentrated and tannic, this is classic in every sense of the word. Another decade might help soften things out, but that is a very long to wait for this to come around.
