Double decanted in am. Reticent nose, slightly astringent, but woodsy blackberry taste and finish. Quite good, but has many years to go. Will hold last bottle for 5 to 10+ years.

Double decanted and then into glass. Drinking quite nicely - loads of perfumed cherry on the nose and palate, with a rounded, plush mouthfeel.

Very layered with jammy fruit and velvety tannins that linger. Notes of wet slate and earthiness. Dry spice and hints of anise.
