Exceptional. On dried Provençal herbs, thyme especially, but also rosemary. Also a hint of curry. Dried apricot, honey, almonds. Great complexity and freshness. Will live.

A Day With Olivier Humbrecht (Turckheim, Alsace, France): Bright gold, a really vibrant looking wine. Nose full of smoke and gunflint. Very rich and very ripe with a long finish. Noticeable sweetness. This is just a baby and could be one of the best wines of the vintage given some time.

exquisite chocice with the cheese. Deep, layered, much confit here, orange, citrus, honey - loving it.No hurry to drink this.

An Evening with Olivier Humbrecht (Domaine Zind-Humbrecht) (Chicago, IL): Tasting. Moderate spice and fruit aromas with an intensity hinting at intense sweetness. For now the unctuous, syrupy character is a bit tough to enjoy but hints at good potential going forward.
