  Mature aromatics of dried orange peel, cinnamon, and a touch of gamey animale. Lovely acidity frames some woodsiness, dried leaves, spices, dried cherry sweetness. Reminds me a lot of old CVNE and serves a reminder that most great wines start to resemble each other given enough time. There's a lick of iron/blood and bitterness at the finish suggesting this is indeed at the end of its life, but it was apparently a good one.
