Bottle in good condition, the cork came out in one piece and was healthy, but the wine had seeped almost up to the top. Showing obviously signs of aging, the wine was not faded but there was absolutely no fruit left. Only secondary and tertiary aromas (blood, rust and herbs) were to be found so the wine seemed rather austere and restrained, although still pleasurable.
