WineBox 10y - Master class – ‘Alsace: Fruit & Terroir – Side by Side’- Jean-Frederic Hugel: from 100% clay vineyard, coming with honeyed minerality on the nose. In the mouth – finesse, light botrytis, minerality that underlines the elegance, ridiculously youthful and long. BTW – Hugel states that of all Alsace whites, Pinot Gris has the greatest aging potential - kind of starting to agree with that statement.
