Nicely aged. Red to orange bricking colour. Nose becomes more and more expressive over 2 hours, with floral notes, mushrooms, forest floor, sea spray and sweet cherries. Palate also comes around with time, and contains a bit of fruitiness, although slightly tinted by the relatively weak vintage. Still plenty tannins, not perfectly integrated. Still very good all in all.

Burg lunch at SSG. Drank in Grassl Cru. Tasted blind. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of red fruits, ripe red cherries, earth, musk. Developing. On the plate, dry, lovely high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), structured medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of animal musk, earth, ripe red cherries, small touch of sweet red spice. Very long finish. Very good quality. Drinking well and still has gas in the tank to develop more over the next 5-6 years easily.

Palette cherries and roses/violets. Been open three nights. Typical Burgundy and very good.

Sour cherry and high acidity when first open. Better after 4 hours. Still on the young side. Not much fruit with some tannins.
