  A good wine that is showing its age and is characterizes by its Howell Mountain fruit source. Earthy nose and purple color, dark berries, black and blue and boysenberries, tannins, mushroom, wood and musty soil notes. I'd call this wine a bit stale at this point, not bad but not my preferred style at this stage. 90+ points.

  Strong red ruby, no signs of age. Dark red fruit on the nose with some leather. On the palate it is a medium to strong body wine and naturally dry. Tannins are all resolved. It is ready to drink.
