Light pink color with an orange tint. On the noes, there is abudant cherry and strawberry swirling throughout the glass. In the mouth, there is pure cherry and strawberry with a touch of barrel age and some light spice. Structurally, this is light-bodied with high acidity that brings out the delicate fruit. The finish is a little short, but not unpleaseant. Overall, I really enjoyed this wine for its light mouthfeel coupled with lovely, pure cherry fruit.

Light red color without any orange along the rim. The nose displays cherry and strawberry notes. In the mouth, this wine provides the tart flavors of wild strawberry up front. Structurally, there is slightly screechy acidity that does not enliven the wine as much as it clips the flavors. The finish is solid. Overall, this was a little disappointing because the acidity is out of balance with the fruit, but it does not taste over the hill.

Just great Rose. Strawberry, watermelon and peach notes wrapped in a nice, dry acidity ... great finish. Right up there with Mordoree Tavel ... which we had last week.
Fred Scherr has decoded and mapped the secrets of Tavel rose. $20.00 and worth every penny.

Tasted at the winery. Beautifully crisp and refreshing rose, one of the better I've tasted this year. Dried cherry and watermelon fruit, with bright acidity that cuts across the palate. No bitterness. Extremely well done. A-
