Opened my last bottle of this wine in Aug 2019, it is still wonderful and beautifully balanced. Smooth and silky with nice cherry overtones. Distinctly Oregon Pinot. It has settled down quite a bit from the first time I tried it 10 years ago. Then, it was a whirlwind of energy punching every direction like the Tasmanian Devil. Now, it stands composed, regal, and clearly in command of the extensive competitive lineup tonight. My ‘I only drink Burg’ friends were blown away. A true testiment to the talent of the exceptional winemakers who brought out the absolute best of Palmer Creek.

Big wine. Dark, black cherry, and spicy fruit. Fine but firm tannins. Balanced, and unmistakably Oregon pinot, but large-scaled. Weighty texture. Good wine.
