Still youthfully dark. Smoky bbq with chocolate covered cherries, muddled earth and bacon Clean, ripe and layered with hoisin, all spice, rare charred beef, and bakers chocolate. Impressively long and even finish. This is a beauty. Not showing much age but drinking great now.

4th Saturday Group: Uptown Brown Bag (M&R's): Popped and poured with dinner. Spicy red fruit qualities in the bouquet and on the palate. Hints of worcestshire creep in on the finish- in decline. Drink up.

I was stunned at how well this is still drinking. It must be all that alcohol, 16.3%. Still plenty of fruit, although its just starting to show some prune/raisin notes of oxidation. You could drink this instead of a VC port for dessert.

Past its prime. Mostly prune flavors and acidity.
