OK for a summer day. A touch sweet. Would have had better balance with a little more acidity or a touch less residual sugar. Purchased to drink with sister in law who loves this style.

Light red, dark rose, Off dry, sweetness offset by soft acid with some light tannins. Strawberries, pomegranate and cranberry flavors in a juice cocktail format. While not a great wine, it is a good beverage. Easy drinking, good mouthfeel. Not quite a desert wine, but like an Auslese it is quite pleasant. The acid and sweetness should result in long life.

Paired with spicy a Mexican dinner, the wine tasted far better than I remembered from the tasting room.

A pre-birthday visit to some new places in the Willamette Valley: No detailed notes... this was tart, with mild acids and pretty non-descript throughout... far better than their 2010 Riesling, though. I stopped taking notes here after this wine.
