  • A: very pale straw. Small bubbles. Little to no froth.
    N:banana, toasty. Light but there.
P: Light. Slightly sweet. Banana skin, yeast, toast, green apple, petro.
F: This is where the wine looses me. The finish it bitter, flat and unappetizing.

This lacks the right amount of sweetness to be right. It is just awkward. Not balance. Found pretty good use for it by adding OJ.

  • served with christmas dinner at selkirk manor. shared with pat, giulio, donna and frankie. paired with prosciuto and melon as well as fruita di mare. quite refreshing. the initial pours was almost as good as the N.V. Casa Vitivinicola Tinazzi Prosecco di Valdobbiadene vsqprd ($20) that i brought to central jersey CT off-line holiday tasting at fresco in milltown, n.j. the joy is in the bubbles. not much varietal flavor. a hint of walnut. after being open ten minutes it developed a bit of harshness on the finish. this dissipated after a bit more time. also went well with roasted chestnuts at the end of the meal.
