Corked, but not so badly that it was undrinkable. Frustrating. Sort of like going somewhere for a great view, but there was just too much fog to take any pictures.

Pop and pour. Muted nose of black fruit, slight spice and a touch of alcohol. Fruit remained shy on the palate, even after several hours. Feels well-made, but just does not seem to excite. I am getting the impression that 2007 was not a particularly successful year for Stolpman as I have found surrounding vintages much more enjoyable.
