Nice performance on the heels of an quality good ‘14 (and a disappointing ‘09). Mid weight, spicy, and elegant. This doesn’t exhibit any hints of ‘07 (over) ripeness. No concerns with how this is aging or how much life is left.

PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs -semi-opaque light-med red with some clearing -kirsch detected in relatively subdued aromatics -med- acidity, lighter weight with med concentration, very medicinal, blackberry/raspberry liqueur, some licorice elements on the bitter slightly hot finish with med- residual tannins -carries the ripe higher alcohol signature of '07 S. Rhones with less of the minerality and mid-palate sap but also less of a roasted fruit character, the result is however quite elegant; this is probably at/near peak now as there is substantial risk of the heat becoming more prominent once the fruit fades further

Fully mature, this is on ripe fruit, walking a fine line, bordering on being over ripe. Sweet kirsch notes, garrigue, pepper. Time to drink up.

Holding up very well with a display of warm, baked cherry fruit and garrigue. Plenty of material left to keep this going.

Very tasty mini-chateauneuf du papes. Red fruit, pepper, grilled meat flavors, smooth texture. Drinking very well.
