Butter/oil tones are heavy, even on the nose, with pineapple coming through after. Quite golden in color. Better Chardonnay can be had at the price, but it did the trick in a pinch. Not Yellowtail's best, but did cook nicely in shrimp scampi. Not completely awful as other commentators have suggested, I have certainly had worse Chardonnay! Yellowtail brand should not be judged on this variety, recommend the Riesling instead for sure.

I used this to steam mussels and drank the rest. Slightly buttery, with some woody undertones.
