Nose: There is clear maturity to the nose, but still with good expression and peaches, nectarines, green apples, figs, honey, quince, and some pears. There is great complexity, but it is lacking some depth.
Taste: Medium/full bodied with medium acidity. The acidity is there, and there is a fatness to the feel with peaches, nectarines, green apples, quince, and honey tones. The mid-palate is on the thinner side and the tones fade a bit.
Overall: This was a fun, mature riesling. It's not the most complex in the world, but it's great with food and just to enjoy on its own.

Fully evolved yet exhibiting decent acidity that gives the wine a vibrancy that balances well with the sweetness. Flavors of apple, pear, orange blossom and petrol round out the mature palate. Paired wonderfully with the chestnut soup. Drink up!

Surprisingly good acidity and much lower sweetness than I would expect from a Spatlese. Amber color showing more evolution than I would like. No complexity at all - very simple palate of pear. A very boring wine.

Similar to the last bottle, showing a great balance of acidity and sweetness, in a good spot now.

Honeyed with notes of petrol and an aftertaste of succulent and juicy lime and grapefruit. A fabulous wine
