  I was surprised how well this showed. I bought a few of these after last years wine festival but at one point I found this to be hiding within itself last summer. I gave this 2-3 hours decanting time prior in hopes to slam it open and it seemed to help. Burgundian in style, there was some nice complexity of aromas, licorice, sweet cherry and floral with smart acid. A decent finish and a bit of spicy pepper and lovely supporting tannins.
