  • This was actually my first Dominique Laurent CSJ. The wine was served in blind to me. On the nose, it showed dark fruit, fur, animal, herbs and graphite. The classic Gevrey character was quite obvious to me. Based on the colour, it was quite obvious that it is in the 2000s era. It was broad and slightly brooding with generous power and grip. I called it an 02 Gevrey. I was truly surprised the Laurent oak was so well integrated. 91-92
