Light to medium bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, with plenty of fruit flavors still evident. No overpowering or drying tannins. A nice wine for dinner with a grilled NY Strip.

Popped and poured this bottle tableside at Ruth’s Chris dinner. Drank along side a Novelty Hill 2007 Cabernet from Washington. Still dark in the glass with no notable bricking. Mild amount of sediment in the bottle. Dark fruits upfront with a mild Band-Aid scent on the bouquet. Nice dark fruits on the palette with a little bit of earth and an herbal quality.. tannins very soft, In a good place tonight. A good choice tonight to pair up with the excellent steaks we had.

This is in its sweet spot. The bouquet is a hint candied but driven by elegant black currant, new leather, and chocolate aromas. Rich, decadent, and resinous, the palate flows with a core of black fruit, melted tannins, and a whiff of sea breeze on the long finish. Sumptuous, shapely, and resolved. A complete and delicious wine. 92+

Still needs a good bit of air to open up. On the nose, candied cherry, raspberry. Full bodied, round tannins that have a very small hint of sweetness. Dark fruits in the front of the palate, with some herbal and tobacco notes on the back. Well integrated oak on the medium length finish.

Round and fruity with firm, but well integrated tannins. Great with grilled New York Steak.
