2nd bottle gave a better impression and was certainly more integrated with a strong but subtle bouquet of cherries. The palate was short but clean but appeared more complex than I remembered. This wine was more enjoyable. Decanted for 1.5 hours and served at 15-16 degrees . Maybe cooler than the last was the secret.

Wine Education Service - Central Otago - Wines with Latitude (LSE): Great almost Burgundian nose, lots of development, fruity.
Lovely mouth, still quite fruit, very soft but a bit transient.

Smooth fruity and well balanced. lacked sophistication which I expected in a £20 bottle of wine.
