Well it’s just too bad Jim and Cliff closed many years ago but we have still lots of Ft Walla Walla hanging out. We savor every btl we have and enjoy so much. The 05 and 06 are needing to be drank but still have a case plus of this vintage. So earthy but strong fruits and dark flavors.

Dark purple color with subtle aromas of dried dark fruit, nuts, and white pepper. medium full bodied, nice dense mouth feel with flavors of dried prunes, figs, and dark chocolate, with a hint of crème brulee. WS review said 2018, I think it's probably in the peak and may be on the verge of fading, I'd drink now, or within the next year.

The drink by date on this wine (2013) appears to be a cruel joke. There's still a lot of life left in this wine, and the years have been quite kind.
Nose has some baking spice, some black currant, blackberry, and smoke. More fruit comes out on the palate, with blueberry leading the way. Also a bit of oak and some of the spice from the nose comes through. Long, lingering finish with waves of blueberry.

Still holding up. Flavorful with some nice smoke notes. Great with some lovely pasta. A bit of chunky sediment easily filtered. I'd drink soon.

January in Walla Walla; 1/25/2013-1/27/2013 (Walla Walla, WA): Smoky nose with spice box notes. Blueberry and raspberry flavors dominate the palate, with hints of stone fruit and some oak notes. Pleasant, long finish.
