Acidic, slightly sweet, earthy, almost red hue. Lemony at first, then almost salty. Nice body; substantial. Good chilly summer wine, but interesting as it warms up. Don't mean to imply it was terribly complex, but definitely a wine with some weight, worth contemplating and drinking more of.
