This was a pop and pour and served after a 2005 Brigaldara Amarone, a 2008 Saxum JBV and a 2009 Carlise Montafi Ranch Zinfandel. And here it was standing on its own two legs. Good strucutre and acidity; shows some nice red fruits (raspberry) and an earthy core. a little thin on the finsih but that could have been because of the comparisons to the prior big big wines. 13.8% on the label. Nice bottle of wine.

Outstanding QPR in Oregon pinot noir (~$25). The palate was marked by sweet and savory spices that melded with currant, plum and blueberry. The mouthfeel was smooth and silky. This was quite an easy drinking, pretty wine and a tremendous value.
