  • A friend brought it from his recent trip to Spain. Sleek and modern, the way that a lot of RdD wines are today, but you still get the sense that this is tempranillo, not like some of the overblown, oaky monsters that are proliferating across Spain. No issues with the wine being tight upon opening as the previous taster has experienced. Cassis, leather, chocolate, and truffles, with a reasonable vanillic imprint from the oak on the finish. Pleasant, lush, but fairly well-balanced and fresh.

  • only after 2 hours in decanter and 30 min in the glass the wine started to express a very gentle aroma. The taste was light, fruity, fresh & enjoyable - though it didn't add lot of insight and info about the wine, not to mention the almost-non-felt aroma. During the 3rd hour the wine started to open and was quite enjoyable.
