Popped and poured. Aroma of aprictot pit and honey. Sweet apple pear flavors lead into a honeyed finish. Simple, slightly flabby. No major flaws, very drinkable, but nothing exceptional.

Pale straw; greenish hints. Delicate but intense, focused nose: green apple; peach/stone fruit pits; black currant bud; spice and slate; lemon curd. Off-dry; light-bodied but with juicy fruit and nervy acidity: seemingly paradoxical: "round" and nervy at the same time. Full palate coverage. Flavors as per nose with a medium+ minerally finish.

Schäfer-Fröhlich and Rebholz at Seasonal (Seasonal, NYC): Fresh floral and faintly yeasty aromas leading into a palate full of bright peach, pear and lime fruit, slightly sweet and clearly Spätlese richness at least, though this didn't have quite the depth or level of refreshment of the other wines by its side.
