Wonderful bordeaux blend, seems to be improving over w/age. Have a couple left, really enjoyed tonight w/nieghbors from Boulder Creek, CA...not too far away from the winery. I grew up in Los Altos, and have many fond memories of Portola Valley and Skyline Blvd. Stellar bottle, as are the majority of Fogarty wines. consistent w/previous notes.

Popped and poured using a glass airator. I loved this, cabernet based bordeaux blend. Took about 40 minutes or so to open up, but wonderful classic cabernet flavors and aromas. Really tasty w/ a NY strip and taking in the American Idol finale. I thought Adam was the better singer, but it was an entertaining show and fun to watch w/all of the great performances...ie.Carlos Santana & Black Magic Woman!! This wine is stellar, and really an indication of the great wines Thomas Fogarty is producing along the scenic Skyline Blvd. The cabs and pinot are equally stellar!! An excellent wine & QPR.

Drinking very well. A strong, wild, mountain like bordeaxu blend. Cab dominates this, along w/merlot and the usual suspects I would guess...syrah, perhaps cab franc, petit verdot. This wine is complex, powerful and manly, yeah I know the manly part sounds stupid...it was either that or masculine, so what the hey. A Santa Cruz mountain rendition of bordeaux, an excellent wine.

Good value. High acidity, lots of built-in tannin. Fruit forward filling the mouth with ripe berries. $18 Best Cellar
