Much better, primarily because I enjoyed this with a full dinner of Talapia sauteed in a ginger sauce. OK, but still a question on the type of rose this is.

Light pink and red, very inviting color for an outdoor summer tasting. Notes of rhubarb and other tart red fruit, very subdued floral and blossom notes and white pepper. Dry and acidic, a bit too astringent; may need a little bottle or air time. Will try again today with the second half of the bottle. More notes: the ALC is 14.5%, a bit too high. This is not a delicate refined wine, and while it is very dry it is more acidic, tart, and tannic than I like. No mention on the winemaker notes of whether the skin contact or the Saignée technique was use, nonetheless, the balance is off. One more bottle to compare this to.

Slightly fruity, very light, good summer wine - great for an afternoon in the vineyard!

Strawberry color; light fruit, primarily strawberry. Too much acidity.
