The nose is full of apricots stuffed with marzipan and some orange notes. It's quite rich and sweet on the palate with a bit of a cloying feel that the rather sour acidity doesn't quite balance out. But it's not at all bad for a (presumably) cheap Sauternes.

Reduced to clear, and quite right too. A lovely gold colour, and an interesting coconut note, but there's simply not enough acidity to balance the sweetness. Not bad, but not great. [37.5cl; Natural cork; 13% abv; Booths, reduced to £5.99]
