  Consumed blind. Drinking quite well with a healthy amount of fruit smoothly blended into layers of leather and dust. Maybe past its prime, but not by much. Younger vintages can be almost cloying in their fragrance.

  Fruit is still pronounced but very smooth. Tannins are pretty much completely integrated but this isn't fading at all. Delicious wine, will probably keep firing on all cylinders for at least another couple of years.

  Deep garnet in color, red and black raspberries on nose and palate. Medium body and length of finish. Smooth and well integrated. Terrific with cheeses and pate on Christmas Eve! A delight to share with others.

  Red and black raspberry on palate. Smooth and well integrated, deep garnet in color, medium density on palate. Wonderful with cheeses and pate on Christmas eve!
