Very good! Great balance, length and complexity. The finish just goes on and on. Starting to develop some truffley overtones, but still a lot of primary fruit. Could improve for another 5-10 years

We had this at friends 12/9/12 Sangiovese tasting. It had a pleasant, slightly reserved bouquet of violet, cherry, mocha, cocoa and mineral aromas. The palate was full bodied, nicely structured and dry with flavors of cherry, mocha, cocoa and minerals. 89+

Fresh cherry, dried herbs and new leather on the nose. Medium/full bodied with a ripe red fruit attack, soft tannins, earth, spices and a lively acidity. The finish is long and brings up hints of oak and cocoa (retail $24.99)

01/28/12 - Although not a complex wine, it's balanced and very good. It's a bit richer and fruitier with much less of the sour cherry character of other chiantis. It's a medium body wine with a good balance of acidity and tannin. I don't detect the cedar aroma commonly found in chianti, but that doesn't take away from this wine. Overall, it's very good and worthy of buying more.
