Purchased when first released. From a bottle with low neck fill. Gold color. Generous fruit, hints of citrus, pineapple and honey dew. Rich, good weight, citrus fruits with banana. Subtle (not overbearing) oak. Very enjoyable.

Medium gold Perfume like fragrance - lemon candy, greenhouse notes Slightly oxidized flavors but still with nice balance of acid and mellow fruit Over-ripe pineapple, some golden delicious apple notes There is a metallic/ petrol tang but NOT similar to gewurztraminer

Probably a little past its prime but we enjoyed with a spinach/crab dip. The nose was a bit funky, with grapefruit and pineapple predominating. Medium body and a clean, smooth finish with just a touch of oak.

Notes of green apple, honey, and peaches. Rich and mouth filling with a nice core of acidity to keep it together. Very good.
