Fairly appealing nose, but not a very delicious wine. The acidity is still there and is slightly overwhelmed by grass, minerals, and citrus. For some reason I find the flavors very off-putting and did not enjoy the bottle. However, it's still a well balanced, well made wine.

Straw yellow in color with a slightly muted nose. Peach and a little pineapple, but a dominant passivity of melons overall. Light mouthfeel with nice fruit concentration. A somewhat disinteresting but overall very pleasurable wine. Finish was crisp but fleeting.

This is tart, limey, and crisp, and it wields a nice bready finish. Thus, it's not a bad value at 13 bucks. On the other hand, it doesn't win a whole lot of points for typicity; a little more grass and it would taste less like a Pouilly-Fuisse than a Pouilly-Fume. I don't expect much more at this price, mind you; it's solid, cheap summer drinking.

Minerality and citrus with a touch of butter. Improves if not too cold.
