Dark cherry with a hint of bricking. Leather and black cherry nose. Initially sweet cherry with pencil box. Nice tannins give some mid palate depth. Clean, good long finish. Very good.

It's a celebration, bitches. (Dave gets a new job) (Dave's House): Popped and poured, served blind. Followed over approximately 2 hours. Deep garnet in the glass, with a nose of sweet red and black cherries, mineral, black tea leaves, light florals, tar and with sufficient aeration, a waxy note emerged, that I quite liked. On the palate, rather plush and textured, showing similar notes of cherry, mineral and tea. Structurally, this is much weaker than I was expected from the nose; slightly less than moderate tannin and acidity. Finish is of moderate length.

(Tasted Blind) Florals, black tea, fruit forward and dark, with a bit of a rum cake thing going on. Very soft palate with moderate acids and some tannins on the finish. Giving the typical Nebbiolo profile.
