Quintarelli Tasting (Frederiksberg): Definitely, one of the best sweet wines ever produced. It is a special style but this wine is immortal and brings tears to my eyes. Another stunning performance!

This was my WOTN at the SATT dinner, just edging the SQN and a bevy of awesome wines. Served as a desert wine, this gave roasted coffee, macerated cherry, aged balsamic, and sweet spice notes. Simply stunning.

Souper "Dreamer" (Restaurant À L'Os): Je voulais nous gâter en comparant ce vin au Amarone Riserva du même millésime, ce fut la guigne avec chacun son défaut...Ce vin bouchonné fut probablement le meilleur vin bouchonné que j'ai pris, j'ai terminé mon verre avec plaisir sur les fromages, surtout le bleu qui cachait le défaut. La densité, la fraicheur et l'équilibre du vin s'imposaient quand même!

Very dark color, feels fairly primary, with prune, black fruit, licorice, dark damp earth, tar. Not particularly sweet, and very fresh in the sense that it's far from even beginning to fade in any sense or develop oxidative or tertiary notes, but I though it could have been a little more lively or elegant.
