Good, not gret. Suffered a bit in comparison to the hermitage in a large rhone wine lineup. A wine where everything seems in the right place, integrated smoot, refined, but not quite enough to really standout at the end of the night.

Last bottle of a very tasty, gentle, balance Cote-Rotie from this producer. Good cehrry, blackberry fruits with nice leather and hint of oak, mushroom & Rhone dust. Very smooth and just enought tannin and acid to sing and carry the deep red and black fruit notes. Very enjoyable despite only a medium finish. Solid wine with the bourbon aged chicken liver pate, soft cheeses, aged gouda and a pepper rind brie.

Slight bricking, with funky nose at first. Left to decant. After an hour first sips. Nose has evolved to deep voilets and dark chocolate. Palate of tar, leather, dirt, black raspberry. Medium body and very smooth, nice finish.
Thank you CT Red Mountain Off Liners!

Soy sauce and mushrooms.........short finish. Cote Rotie lite. Not worth $30.
