Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Think this wine needed to breath a lot longer than we gave it but it was still very good. Restrained, floral, almost more like a Chinon than a southern Rhone. Some tannins and some heat, although both evolved over the hour and a half we took to finish the bottle. Savory, a little dusty, quenching acidity, great food wine. Had at Forest Grill with duck breast. Kermit Lynch import. If I see this on the retail shelves I will buy some.
