I am generally not a fan of the Grenache grape, so this should be taken as a positive response and many would undoubtedly rate the wine more highly. Reddish fruits that are simple, good freshness, velvet texture, wine improves over 2+ hours in the decanter. No rush to drink, although fully mature now. Cellared since original release.

Slightly burned notes, brown fruit and acidic. Not in a great spot and probably over the hill. This wine has never shined when in my company.

Not spoiled, but getting there. Fruit and acidity out of balance. Past prime.

Popped and poured. A little tired, showing stewed and raisin elements. Drink up.
