Wine-Septet meeting hosted by me (chez moi): light yello-straw colour fresh tropical fruity aroma of apple, melon, peach & lime rich, dense, full body, high acidity, melon, peach, lichee, stone-fruit and light honey flavors, balanced, harmonious, pleasant minerality. long pure aftertaste. A great pleasure. will continue to age beautifully.
Dönnhoff tasting (AuZone, Stockholm): Appearance: light yellow, some green tinge, some “spritz”. Nose: citrus, a hint of green notes, mineral, smoke, some development with petrol notes. Palate: off-dry+/semi-sweet, citrus, yellow apple, honey, high acidity, quite concentrated, honey notes and a fresh finish. Summary: Heavier than the 2005 Dellchen Spätlese, good balance. A fantastic off-dry wine, 91 p.
Brought to a tasting; didn't take detailed notes. Popped and chilled approximately 90 minutes before pouring. Juicy white peaches, tangerines, honeysuckle; maybe lacking a bit of acid but still pretty nice. One of the sweeter wines of the night.
