Three days in the Okanagan Valley; 6/18/2011-6/20/2011 (British Columbia, Canada): Certainly tons of grippy oak aromas; almost astringent. The palate is mildly chunky in texture, with plenty of oak, some white strawberries (if they existed) with milk poured on top. Creamy. The finish shows sweet oak, nice creaminess, and overall is fairly mild.

Tasted at the winery – caramel and toffee oak on the nose with some citrus fruit notes as well. Similar on palate with some apple and soft citrus notes. Nice balance of oak and fruit. Good.
