Classic nose with white peach, flowers and stone. Intense and juicy palate with excellent deepht. Quite big and fat, but also with citrus flavors. A long finish thats also quite dry.

A little reserved nose with white flowers, mineral and a touch of honey. Impressive elegant, juicy, almost creamy and broad palate with plenty of energy. Quite long bitter finish with sweet fruit and a hint of citrus.

Palest straw, green tinged. Vibrant, slightly cleanly floral nose. Lots of zip and energy. Fresh, mineral, floral attack, very Puligny. Lots of energy, almost too much — a sense of nervous tension. Opens nicely. As ever with my 09 Sauzet, if they’re not posed, they’re too young. ***(*)

Another hit or miss Burgundy. When it’s not fully prematurely oxidised it can be very good. This one was just a little oxidised, but not hurt by it. Deep straw yellow, good length, mouth coating flavour. But you’re rolling a 3 sided die every time you try one, and 1 out of 3 is going to be poor.

I1. Cellar bottle at Vendemmia. So much reduction that could have been on edge of premox. Never really straightened out.
