Color of straw, clings to the glass Nose hads apples, pears, orange blossom, generic citrus and subtle spices. Apples are all over the taste with mild oak. Still very acidic, could have some more aging in it. It lingers nicely as you drink and paired well with our dinner.

Yellow gold. For such a young wine, this has an amazing, layered nose showing mushrooms, dried herbs, fennel and some apples and pears. I could smell this for hours. Medium plus, nearly full bodied. This enters with a blast of tropical fruit and then layers into some oaky, spicy notes. A bit of a dead ringer for California Chardonnay at this stage of life, but the acidic backbone hints at a long life ahead. The finish is clean and fresh and lingers on the palate.
A great example of old and new world elements in harmony. A delicious bottle of wine.

Very nice mature White bourgogne. As it should be - no preox.

Good bottle, good integration of the oak, nice complexity. Good combination with the lobster!
