  • Tasted blind - mind puzzling stuff.
    Brownish garnet red.
Dried fruit nose with yeasty richness. The nose was in fact very much reminiscent to aged Champagne.
Medium bodied and smooth palate with showing rich dried fruit profile with stone fruits, dates and raisins. Slight meatiness and leather as well as nuts and charcoal. Lengthy Port-like aftertaste.
A peculiar wine that was fun to taste, but didn't really win me over.

  • Rich, deep, complex and long. Black currants, spices, nutmeg, tobacco, interplaying with strong dark fruit. Color deeper than flavor, flavor bigger than bouquet. Recommended.
